Cameron Jeppson

Cameron Paul Jeppson (16) began studying violin with Asheley Madsen Watabe at age three. He has attended the intermountain Suzuki String Institute for twelve years and was a featured soloist on their honors recital in 2013. He is part of Ringtone, a string quartet that has studied intensively with the Fry Street Quartet and violinist Micah Flemming. Cameron is a member of the YACP orchestra and will be traveling with them to Europe this upcoming summer, performing in several countries. He has toured Southern Utah with Sotto Voce. In August 2015, he toured Russia, Latvia and Estonia with Rocky Mountain Strings, sharing Russian, Estonian and American music with audiences there. Cameron has had master classes with Jerry Elias, Kathryn Eberle, Yuki McQueen, and Linda Case, as well as many other fine teachers. Besides music, Cameron's pursuits include reading, running cross-country, and exploring anything of a scientific or mathematical nature.
